If there's as mud as in Portugal, let's wait that the organization won't need cancelling any stages.
Rain is normal for Argentina... in portugal we had extreme rain and laso the roads are softer than Argentina. I think the rallies cannot compare... Lets hope the argentinian organisers do not mess things up once more.Quote:

Any shakedown times yet?

FP2 : fastest time for Seb Loeb (2'38.9). Solberg didn't make his second run yet.
I think these videos are made by Citroen. They can be found on Citroen racing’s web page.Quote:

Are we expecting the winner of the QS to pick first on the road then I assume?
It will be a tricky desicion........ :) lets see. In other hand, the fog it will be a main actor there.... since i.e. SS2 (La Pampa - La Pampa) starts 7:28 am and I can bet will by a foggy SS
If so it will be quite ironic. . . the QS was meant to help the top drivers not be disadvantaged by starting first on the road, however in the last 2 rallies it seems first on the road is the place to be!
I was confused for a moment because looking at time zones, there’s a 4h difference between CET and Argentina local time but then I remembered the daylight saving time.
With daylight saving time.
10:58 local time
14:48 GMT +4 h
15:48 CET +5 h
16:58 Finnish time +6 h
RIGHT NOW it is 10:55 in ArgentinaQuote:

Loeb has finished the QS. It's raining.
Loeb 2:36 mins
Hirvonen 2.37 mins
Solberg 2:39 mins
Watching this morning times, no one will beat Loeb. Great!

Petter 4th but used hard tyres. Everyone else on softs.

All of them with Soft Tyres choice

"Petter Solberg opted to run on Michelin’s hard compound tyre, which provided less grip in the slippery conditions. “I wanted to take care of the [soft] tyres for the rally if it’s raining,” said the Norwegian, who was fourth quickest. “It was very slippery in there with a lot of mud and rain now. But it’s a long rally."

Any chance for live coverage for the night ss stage?
Thanks guys!
Using the hard tyres could be a smart move from Petter.
Sordo immediately sets a top time.....Hope some time we see him in a full program with a factory team....
