Dude...no more Beefeater for you. Hirvonen has never outpaced Loeb, so why should he start now. He won't win a single rally this year and I think he will find it harder to even reach a podium than with Ford.Quote:

True, however we'll see how much snow and ice there will actually be.Quote:

The forecast that I'm looking at says that In Hamar (region first day) and Hagfors, it wil be cold this week, and next week there will be a lot of snow.Quote:

That says a lot, if not all.
Analyse!
Anyway, a different point of view is allways welcome, MikeD.

Why isn't Mikko wearing the same overalls as Loeb?
Is Göransson going to do more rallies with the official Mini team or will he be involved with the Swedish outfit?Quote:

Can some Swede tell me who is Joakim Roman? Is he going to use the car of Per-Arne Sääv or some other?
No, the team has bought his car from last year from M-Sport. He first tested the car in WRC-spec, rebuilt the car during the night and tested in RRC-spec the next day (30 mm restrictor etc.) Mads will contest at least the first two norwegian championship rounds, starting with the Mountain Rally coming saturday. In Norway he will drive the car in RRC-spec. As also Andreas Mikkelsen will drive his Fabia S2000 in the Mountain Rally, the outcome and comparison between the two will be very interesting. As it looks now both Mads and Andreas will contest the Finnskog Rally 4th of february. This is not a championship round, but an excellent testing opportunity before the Swedis Rally. The Finnskog Rally has eight stages totalling 120 kms in the same area where they are running the first day in Swedish Rally. This will be important as the stages in Norway has a different and more technical caracter than the stages in Sweden, and remember the first day of Rally Sweden is something like 110 km stages in Norway! The organisers of the Finnskog Rally are trying to market their rally as an excellent test for all drivers participating in the Swedish Rally, only three days before recce starts in Sweden.Quote:

Yes, that´s right. Mikko will drive Tommi´s R4 in Sweden. And Yes Kaj is new co-driver for Mikko this year. More to follow in official press releases later....Quote:

I'm not from Sweden but I remember him participating in the PWRC in 2001 I think. I remember him because his co-driver was a woman with a greek name :) Tina Mitakidou.Quote:

It really impresses me when people are actually interested in the most obscure of journeymen drivers. Joakim Roman finished 26th overall in the 2001 Swedish rally, some 25 minutes behind Gr.N winner Stig Olof Walfridsson. In 2002 he finished the rally in 44th place, 17 minutes behind Daniel Carlsson (and ten minutes behind Tord Linnerud/Yours truly...).Quote:

Thanks for both answers.
No Henning en no Ferm WRT driver Dennis Kuipers.
Entries « Rally Sweden
Edit: Whoop never mind.
Shame about Kuipers!!!! :(
It´s not final entrylist yet!Quote:

The S2000-class looks really interesting in Rally Sweden.
