I don't think we'll see something that crazy in Mexico. It's too high for naturally aspirated engines.

A weather update for Leon area ? .....
Well, I'm not there yet, but I'm not packing a cardigan! : ) It's very probably sunny and warm.
+24..29 degrees during the days during most of the rally week (however, temperatures over +30 degrees during the midday are real possibility). Sunny, calm until Thursday, then some wind pics up-so no dust problems.
+11..+16 during the nights, Tuesday night might be colder (+8..+13). Saturday night colder and more clouds as well (+7...+12 degrees). Sunday is too far to call yet. Might be colder and cloudier than the other days (max temp +18..+22 degrees).
So, very warm during the day and chilly during the nights and mornings.. Like a proper desert.

bet the house on novikov....
Nice to see these cars on gravel :)
It's really funny to see that Novikov has the same odds as Matt does . Novikov theoretically has the speed and the "wow" effect , and in some small percentage he has a chance for victory . Wilson on the other hand is really bad in every aspect , son he doesn't even have theoretical chances :D
With Novikov's road position I can see him in the top 3 at the end of Day 1 if:Quote:

The cars look even better in person. They're both beautiful, purposeful machines. I'm liking them more and more.
50 seconds stage? Thats a little bit short i have to say! =)
Those mickey-mouse stages are *******s. Like Bjorn Waldegard used to say: "You cant win anything, just loose everything on them".
It's a city stage, and in some parts it's also underground in the tight old tunnels!Quote:

well, the street stage at least looks like more fun (both for drivers and spectators) than the SSS which I really dislike I gues its also good for the cameras and sponsors, which really is the only justification for mickey mouse stages. A little bit like the street stage in germany. I'm just hoping no one crashes into a roundabout like Sordo did in Cyprus...
I think that it is one of the shortest SSS but it will be one of the greatest SSS-s ever. Imagine the sound! People are standing on the bridges and on the sides of the walls and car is coming from the tunnel.. and a lot of spectators. great:-)
Totally agree!Quote:
