No Alen at all?Quote:

It will be really interesting to see what Bengue can do in Ypres...
there are also rumours of Bouffier in Ypres....
I realy hope that's true, but I think the chance isn't very big...
Bouffier would be on a Proton if he goes ???

Yes, for sure, according to organisator, there will be seven different brands of S2000 cars. :) :p :Quote:

There is a 90% chance to have 6 different brands of S2000.
I don't think that anybody before of the organisers confirmed 7 S2000 brands..
Ok Frederik, then i must have misunderstood what was said as you are saying that it will be the seven brands that are registered in IRC :DQuote:

Teamboss of MEM confirmed in different interviews that Ypres would be there first rally IRC this year, although they didn't know the driver. McShea, Wilks or Bouffier would all be great I think...
IRC confirm 4 hours of live tv stages for Ypres, and they are expecting all 7 registered manufacturers and over 20 S2000 cars!:

Will be great to watch the live stages!
Does anybody know if they will show the stages on Googlemaps like they did last year?
Normally they will, but if you want the stages on Google Earth, send me PM. :DQuote:

In the 90s I was a big fan of Belgian rallyes. I still have VHS tapes with highlights recorder from satellite TV. Condroz, Boucles de Spa, Ypres, Wallonie and other events. Patrick Snijers with the Bastos Escort RS, Paul Liatter with the Crack Escort, Bernard Munster with the clio Williams and the Maxi were the pilots of the time. Belgian still have the two rallye championship: the International and the National?
Hey Luis, we now have only one major championship, with a lot of regional rally's aside of the championship. Boucles de Spa doesn't excist anymore (at least not with modern cars, only historics), but for the rest we still have the rally's like Tielt, Bocholt, Wallonie, Ypres, Omloop van Vlaanderen, Haspengouw and Condroz. Hope you will enjoy Ypres next month, even if you cannot be here live. ;)Quote:

Did you know that in some years Ypres were run at the same weekend of Azores Rallye :D
I don´t know if some of you remember but in the 90´s there was a TV channel called "Super-Channel". At that time I watched every friday the Go-International Motorsport programme and the resumes of belgian, netherlands and danish rallyes. The Ypres highlights were always one of my favourite. I remember very well Bruno Thiry with the Opel Astra some times and the huge battle between Freddy Loix and Verreydt with the Marlboro Celica´s one time. Kankkunen's participation I also remind and his early retired because he lost a wheel but I frankly no longer remember in what year.
