Battle of 3 great drivers and manufacters....
There should be one more Škoda but not before june.
Paolo Andreucci is forfait at tomorrow's Liburna Ronde Terra :(
Anna Andreussi explained the reason on http://www.paoloandreucciofc.com forum...but I didn't understand it completely...
Should be easy victory for Luca Rossetti in S2000 class and overall podium...
I don't think it will be so easy for Rossetti. He hasn't done that much km's in the Punto S2000 and maybe he is not so confident after his accident in the Monte-Carlo already in SS1. There is "Dedo" with a faster 207 S2000, Paolo Ciuffi in a 206 WRC is not that slow and there is also Manfrinato in an Evo 9.
Manfrinato won first stage, Tibor ÉRDI (HUN) second with Impreza S9 :) Go Tibi! Rossetti in trouble, + he's only 28. +1.32,9
... raining

Hydraulic problems for Rox on SS1... :mark:
Very good performance by Daniele Batistini, winner of the 2008 Subaru cup on gravel, for the first outing in S2000(on gravel) :D
I expected more from the WRCs...
Problem again for Rossetti who lost 8 minutes in SS3 !!!! :(
Daniele Batistini takes the lead for 1.1s in front of Giovanni Manfrinato with the same stage to run once again later... :bounce:
Hydraulic? What is hydraulic on S2000 except power steering?Quote:

If I'm not wrong "Idroguida" in Italian means power steering troubles!Quote:

Remove the / at the end of the link ;)
Thanks
Dedo now using Grifone 207?
At Rally del Carnevale next week, several other drivers of CIR09 will discover their S2000s(Michelini on 207, Signor and Caldani on Grande Punto,...) ;)
Rally di Carnevale start today at midnight(it's a whole night rally) ;)
Three S2000 drivers who will run IRC this year on entrylist: Michelini, Signor and Caldani...
Results on http://rally.ficr.it/tab_schedule.as...festazione=102
No S2000 won the rally Carnevale in the end(retirements for Caldani and Signor, puncture or something like that in last stage for rally leader Michelini who finishes only 8th)... :s :s
No offense Tom but at least you could have mentioned the winner M.Rovatti in an Renault Clio R3.... ;)
Yep... couldn't we start a new topic for Italian rallies? Rossetti wasn't even participating this event?
It has naturally become a CIR thread :p :
Or we can discuss such rallies in "national championship news" thread ;)
Another CIR driver will discover his S2000 this coming week-end at the Ronde Boville Ernica: Fabio Gianfico ;)
Tom, this news is for National champ thread. It has nothing to do with Rossetti...

Because the name of the thread is very confusing for forum users. So I would prefere to either discuss Italy in National champ thread or in new Italian thread.
Or maybe some moderator may rename the thread to Italian rally news...
Thanks Mirek !!! The title of thread is better :D
Looks much better now ;)
By the way, Rally Ciocco is next week, so we won't have to wait too long before entrylist... ;)
Unfortuneately no Rossetti, no Scandola, no Andreucci, and no Navarra are to be expected following boicott of factory teams for two events(Ciocco/1000 Miglia) :(
No idea about Longhi though(Skoda)
But if you look at the Ciocco thread in Rallylink forum, many S2000s and GrNs should be there anyway...
Tom,do you know some rumors about entries for Rally Colli Trevigiani, the first round of the CH4 (6th-7th March) ?
This weekend Ronde Valtiberina (Gravel) with interesting entry list:
http://www.prsgroup.it/valtiberina_2...f/iscritti.pdf
Colombini, Korda, Tabaton, Ciuffi, Marchetti, Tempestini, Dedo....
In Boville Ernica (Tarmac) Gianfico with 207 S2000 and Paolo Bettini (Procar Abarth S2000) :D
http://www.rallybovilleernica.com/do...critti2009.pdf
This monday afternoon will be published entrylist of Ciocco, first event of italian championship... :D
http://www.cioccocentromotori.it/ind...occo&svolto=-1
Many S2000s are awaited
What about the boycot of the factury drivers? Will they be there or not? I tought they will do boycot of first two rally's of the championship, so i guess the topdrivers won't be present in Ciocco. :confused:Quote:
