The story in the Indianapolis Star listed the "packages" that were available to smaller or low-budget teams for a second-weekend try and the smallest "package was something like $321,000 for car, engine, tires, fuel and entry fee. So it would appear that IMS, those owning some Panozes or Dallaras they weren't going to run, Honda, Firestone and Ethanol put an attractive package together for 'em. Who got what out of the deal, who knows?
