Could Nasser win in a Buggy?!
X-Raid is purely privat team, and they get their fundings from gentlemen drivers to devellop a competitive car and atrack some real top drivers. that's how Prodrvie/Mini was suppose to operate in WRCQuote:

Another rumour in french media is that finally Carlso Sainz may partner Nasser Al Attiyah and Thierry Magnaldi in the atar 2wd Buggy project.
I'll answer myself: those Ovedrive Hiluxes are built on RSA Toyota's licence, and will have all the updates.Quote:

Brazilian Guilherme Spinelli will contest the next Dakar Rally in a Mitsubishi ASX.
It is an all-new prototype, based on the old Mitsubishi Racing Lancer. According to what is being said here, it was fully developed here in Brazil by Thierry Viardot (the same that was responsible for the project of the Racing Lancers and is now hired by Mitsubishi Brasil). The parts were produced here in Brazil and went to Europe to complete the montage of the car.
What I heard is that is a better car than the Racing Lancer, new engine, lighter, new weight distribution, and shorter. On the dunes, it's better, and has a better handling too.
Its debut was on the last Rallye Maroc. Spinelli won the first day and finished the event on third overall.
There won't be any other event for the car prior to the Dakar, only a few tests.
