Excuse me for picking the through your post, but I reckon Hazel has a point. The election of the US President may be democratic, but that doesn't matter much if you're from Iraq. What choice are these people really getting with their "liberation"? Sure, things may change for iraqis, but that depends on the whims of US citizens.
