I still don't get what makes him lucky in this case. It's rallying we're talking about here - it's not about stage times, it's about the end result.

too fast. but if I see it correctly, he blocked the wheels under braking and went straight into the tree. perhaps he could have avoided it if he had stopped braking, like most other drivers.
yet, he's only 2:15 slower than ogier. if you look at times from other years, that's not unusually much for monte carlo.
