Recently posted on Facebook by a reliable source. 'Hoonigans' have confirmed that Ken Block has passed away as the result of a snowmobile accident.
Obviously best known in the motorsport world for the Gymkhana stunt video series that spanned the globe for filming locations.
A frequent competitor in the US Rally Championship/ Rallycross Championship and previous participant in the WRC and other rallies/rallycross/ other motorsport events around the World.

Remember Ken´s off at Leustu 1 (SS14) in 2012. After last car had passed me and my son Simon went 3K from Saakoski yellow house up to the corner he went off and lost a wheel. MSport people was just arriving and he stood there holding his child in his arms. Calm despite what happened. When he was asked he just explained how it happened. Very nice and polite.
Same corner I was spectating with Pantealex and his Jämsään friends in 2019...

You just know he was one of the guys who would have kept endlessly rallying, racing and doing stunts. Some just have motorsport in their veins.
I remember him going viral on Youtube with his gymkhanas in the 2000s and basically becoming an icon.
