As a Leaf's fan, this gives me great pain, almost as much as saying Go Habs Go, but go Sens go I guess....if they must...cause I think Brian Burke is a neanderthal!!!

The final started just the way I wanted. :D Go Ducks.
Glad Detroit got knocked out. Go Ducks!
Ducks are up one....but they have brought back clutch and grab mugfest hockey and the stupid refs are letting them. ...no matter who wins, it looks like hockey is bound and determined to slide back to the dark ages. By Christmas next year, they will be water skiing on guys too...
Another question. It used to be, if a goalie was in the crease, he was not to be touched in any way unless he left the crease. Now the goalies are getting run all the time, but you cant even breathe on one if he is behind the net playing the puck. This is just retarded....
I couldn't agree with you moreQuote:

Really disappointed, was hoping a Canadian team would finally win it, yet another southern American team wins it, but it's not making any difference, they're not interested in hockey. Shame!
Andy, it is perplexing to us Canadians, but then we notice it was Ottawa playing for the cup, and we knew they would choke eventually...at least the Leaf's fans out there did!! Actually, I am disappointed to be honest. I was rooting for Ottawa. What most of the philistines down south don't know is that the Stanley Cup started in Ottawa. Lord Stanley of Preston was the Governor General of Canada and he fell in love with hockey when he saw the kids of the staff at Rideau Hall playing it out on the skating rink on the grounds. IN the early days of hockey at the end of the 19th Century and the start of the next, Ottawa was epicenter of the early pro circuits and the famed "Silver seven" were the kings of hockey at that time. It would have been appreciated in Ottawa whereas in Anaheim, half of the area probably have no clue there are even games being played.
It'll soon be over for the season anyways... :mark:
sooo who will the leafs sign for next season :) ?
