I can only assume that you haven't been paying attention.

Probably he has no clue what has happened.
no one rally source did not confirm anything yet?
The only person I can definitely see is the one falling down from above. Could be broken legs for that person, surely not death?
Yes, watching motorsport is dangerous.
Watching sharks behind a 2m thick safety glass is also dangerous if you jump in and watch the people behind the glass from the water with the sharks.
Ogier is moving to start. Looks like they continue normally. Only 10 min late
Now WRC-radio has songs in minor key.
Radio music says it all.
& Poor Paddon, will be hard for him to continue this season.
[QUOTE=steve.mandzij;1121133]To what? The spectator? I have, of course. I was just checking what the verdict was on the times, since there was no news on the poor guy. And being a massive Latvala fanboy it hit me hard.
Where are you from Latvala fan? I´m big fan too!!]
It is eerie how the commentators just talked over the crash without mentioning the accident. So easy to not see it, even though it was right in front of us. I just saw Paddon wandering around and wondered if he was a bit shocked by the crash. I was watching it and I didn't realize there was the person on the ground until I looked at this thread after the stage was cancelled. The second commentator was even asking why they didn't right the car and carry on.
It's selfish of me as a fan but I hope Paddon and Kennard find it in themselves to continue on the path they're on. Sometimes this kind of thing happens and a driver can't commit 100% anymore. With such a talent I hope that won't be the case.
Didn't Mikkelson have a similar tragedy with a young girl early in his career?
I knew something was wrong by the way that there were people crowding around on the other side of the car. Was a bit surprised that they showed a few replays as looked obvious to me that something had happened. Not surprised that Desborough and his pal didn't spot it though, you could slap Jon in the face with a 14 inch rubber cock and he would realise until you'd showed him 8 slo-mo replays.
[QUOTE=satukata;1121146]Argentina! Last year I was gutted when he rolled in the lead of my home rally :( I don't really know why I like him so much, but I do
For those who might still think I'm oblivious to the spectator's accident, I'm trying to liven up the conversation.

If indeed its true, Paddon would surely use some help.Hope he gets over it and continues. We can't afford to lose another talent so early.McRae, Burns and Martin were already a big hit.
just came back and read all these...
At Monte the bomb was ticking for years.Every year he had the same conversation about organization and where spectators were sitting.
The "zer" car is still not running on stage 2
The "zero" car is still not running on stage 2
Zero car now just left start line of stage 2
Here you can maybe see better that people are gathering behind Paddon's car to check on the spectator: http://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/news...ectid=11785680
why do i have a feeling they will cancel this stage also?
Designated spectator areas will not solve the problem. It will just kill a sport so dependant on the freedom to watch tourists in the forest closely (as some here would state it).
