Maybe it was there by intention ...
Doesn´t look too good for Bouffier, too, with more than 100 km road section.

They should make those steereing arms, antirol bars, suspension sticks or whatever and wheel rims out of somewhat hardened rubber and many stupid mistake makers would be able to get out only with a scare, not a car wreck.
Sat 16:40 - SS13: Bouffier
The rear-left suspension arm is broken. He and co-driver Victor Bellotto are trying to hold it together with ratchet-straps. No Rally 2 for tomorrow remember - so we have another Monte-Carlo or bust situation...

This is a rally of the accountants
Onboards now up of SS10 on WRC+ ... scary conditions on the icy downhill ! :disturb:
It will be interesting to watch the onboards and see when that rock appeared ...
Latvala & Meeke out - both will not restart tomorrow as there is no Rally 2 service facility ahead of the final leg. :(
how much time Bouffier has?
Sat 16:55 - Bouffier update
He's on the move and heading to Monaco thanks to some deft work with a ratchet-strap. Ahead is a journey of 183km, so keep your fingers crossed.
He is not moving again, about 10 minutes already. DNF for sure, the distance is too long
Another place for Sordo then, when he catches Tanak tomorrow Hyundai could lead the manufacturers standings.
Starting orderves for final day? :D
Started to move again but only 60km/h
Kris Meeke driving !

a nice video with finally some fast sections

Meeke's rock, right in front of spectators and nobody moved it (quick enough to get the underguard).
So unfair.
Wonder how the rock got there in the first place.....
Bouffier moved but stopped again now.
Daaaaaaaa I thought some rules changed..... Will round two be first days Champ order, final day reverse order?
Paddon is currently in position 32, behind 20+ RC2 and RC3 cars. Does anyone know if he had an incident, or has he just been taking it slow to learn the rally?
[Hello. Since I'm new here, I wanted to say thanks to all the people uploading photos and video links.]
Bravo to Ogier for his words after SS13.
From BORL re Meeke
'On SS12, however, his DS3 WRC left the road at a narrow junction and the impact punched a hole in the gearbox, causing the Abu Dhabi Total WRT driver to exit the event.'
'Left the road' ? No mention of a rock ? Poor reporting that !
Nice day 3 vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YECBaT03GY&app=desktop
Thanks RS.
You cant make parts that control the weel from stuff that allows movement. That would make the car undriveable.
They could however design it so that not the suspension itself breaks, but the bolts holding it in place. That would be far more easy to repair.
But i guess there must be a reason why they don't do that.
