You can almost bet on it that if Huyndai wants Neuville to test for them before his contract is over, then they find suitable resources for Malcolm to increase his goodwill ;-)Quote:

Somebody said they were testing a "WRC event" including road sections etc. I have no sound here but if recall the video was without anti-lag that means probably in road mode of ECU.
When Škoda was preparing Fabia S2000 they were sometimes driving on motorways around Mladá Boleslav on road mode to search for every possible faults.
yes they have to map the ecu at very different climate conditions, and thats not so easy.Needs time, and different conditions, and many test kms.Quote:

I don't remember that one but I do remember the same with both Octavia WRC in Monte Carlo 1999 :)
Monte 2000. No 206 started the second day because they refused to restart :SQuote:

For Manufacturers or WRC Teams registered in the Championship, testing (as defined in Art. 2.20) is permitted:
66.1.1 On a permanent testing site proposed by the Manufacturer or WRC Team before its first rally of the year and notified to the FIA. The permanent testing site must be located in the country where the Manufacturer or WRC Team rally cars are registered.
66.1.2 During a calendar year, a P1 driver may use only one permanent testing site.
66.1.3 In Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and UK.
66.2 BANNED TESTING
For Manufacturers or WRC Teams registered in the Championship, testing (as defined in Art. 2.20) is banned:
66.2.1 In all other countries.
66.2.2 In the country of any World Rally Championship round from the start of reconnaissance until the end of the rally.
66.2.3 On any road which is or might be used as a special stage of any current Championship rally.
66.2.4 By permanently nominated P1 drivers other than for the team to which they are contracted.
I can't see there any limit for testing on permanent testing site (66.1.1). If I understand that right they can do whatever they want any time they want on such place and that's what I meant.
But is Hyundai registered already? :-)
Hyundai is not registered yet, So, they can test 24/7, on your backyard..on Rally GB stages one day before the rally or after the rally... wherever they want. Like VW did.
Has anyone found this in proper resolution?

Hi!
Is there any video of this testing ? Or for more photos?
Thanks.
No tests for TN before 01 01 2014... Or did MW allow him?
Should be interesting to see if we can tell on some face expressions what he thinks of the car…
Did he try it at all before deciding to go to Hyundai?
