I have some remarks/questions regarding your results:
Galway: you give Paul Windsor in 7th place... I had it allready but in 6th... who is 6th and 7th then???
Lorraine : 8th place François Grandjean (FRA)/Pascal Ruer (FRA)
Donegal: In my DB I have Vincent & Richard Bonner in several results... here you give Vincent & Michael Bonner, is there a "new" Bonner, or is it the "same"???
Chataigne: 8th place must be: Bernard Lagorsse/G. Chevarin... and for 10th I think that's Philippe Malbran/Philippe Benatier wich usually raced together...
Algarve: Ojuara's codriver seems to be Castelo Branco.
and Finally, for 79, I'm still missing Saarland Rally 7th and 8th places... if you have this...

Name of this rally becomes from from the name of the base-town Warszawa (not Warswa), so you can name it Rally Warszawa or Warsaw Rally, Rallye de Varsovie or so... The original name was: "Międzynarodowy Rajd Warszawski Polskiego Fiata" what means The International Warsaw Rally of Polski Fiat. That addition "Polski Fiat" was because it was sponsored by FSO - producer of Polski Fiats.

This is a picture of Maurice Gatsonides/Ed Pennybacker Triumph TR3 taken on Coupe des Alpes Rally 1956. "Gatso" won the 1600-2000ccm class and was 8th overall.

A377VUK was indeed entered by Ruben Borjesson and Joe Hawkins on the 1985 Liege International Police Rally. They were seeded 1 having won the event on numerous occasions mostly in a Volvo 242. Not entirely sure what caused their demise but it was their last entry in this rally. Hope this helps you!

Stock, I'm assuming that the co-driver is Hans-Dieter Stock instead of Alfons: The (logical) reason is 1) in my DB Alfons is allways a driver. 2) I fund in some german results Hans-Dieter as Kissel's co-driver (for example in:http://www.rallye-magazin.de/forum/s...t=6160&page=3).

- In Skoda Rally, I have already Sjunning in 5th (confirmed with in el mundo deportivo july 18th 1980...) Here is my top 5:

Thank you for some corrections or additional information.
Alfons Stock was not sure so he was attached with "?".
About Rally Skoda there are two versions of result. Some say Sjunning was 5th and Blahna 8th (a.o. M.Holmes) and other (including all known to me Czech or Czechoslovak sources) say that Blahna was 5th and Sjunning 6th. Now guess who is right.
10th in Scottish were: Geoff Fielding/Tony Goulding-GB-Escort RS1800.
I noticed you are looking for start numbers too. Here you have top 10 numbers from Varsovie: 2, 3, 4, 5, 12, 22, 8, 10, 18, 20.

I guess that explains the reference to a "Belgian Rally". Not a mainstream rally, although the "Police Rally" is known in the UK from the time former BMC works driver John Gott, then Chief Constable of Northamptonshire, borrowed a works Sunbeam Tiger to win it (1965?).

Mika and Juhani is correct. And if you look at the 1983 1000 Lakes result, both Minna / Johanna and Mika / Juhani took part :) A very good example of why first names should be included in results, such a shame that in so many countries first names were hardly ever given in results or entry lists...

A funny coincidence then. :)

It's a very annoying habit, I have lots of entry lists where I can't be 100% sure who is on them because they didn't even mention the first letter of the first name.
