I agree with you on the blue-ish 8 car. It looks a bit slower than the fast red 7.

Whilst half paying attention to what was being said on World Motorsport on TV yesterday, did I hear right that they said that there had been a rumour that Andy Priaulx was amongst the potential candidates for the Peugeot squad? Where did that come from?! That would have been great, but not sure BMW would have been too pleased!
During the Geneva Motorshow press conference this week, Peugeot chairman said the make will present this year a new racing prototype with a hybrid-diesel engine ;)
According to L'Equipe magazine from today it will be based on the current 908 and presented during the 2008 24h of Le Mans week in june, then it will take part to the last LMS round(Shanghai)for a full LMS/Le Mans season in 2009 :D
Peugeot would be the first to run with a hybrid engine at Le Mans, very soon ;)
Two important informations from Peugeot-Sport today(at Barcelona during the LMS free practices) :D
First, we officially know the crew of the three 908s at the 2008 24H of Le Mans :)
908 No 7: Gené/Minassian/Villeneuve
908 No 8: Lamy/Sarrazin/Wurz
908 No 9: Klien/Montagny/Zonta
Other important information that is very good news especially for our belgian friends ;) Jacques Villeneuve will drive the 908 No 7 alongside Gené/Minassian on the LMS round of Spa-Francorchamps !!! :bounce:
Of course the 908 No 8 will be driven also by a third driver but Peugeot didn't communicate his name...
yep, Jacques lasted one week in Nascar, hit quick reality he wasn't good enough there, but hes alot more suited for this type of racing
Very interesting news/rumour !!!
During Sebastien Loeb show in the 908 last thursday, british ex-F1 driver Anthony Davidson would have been spotted discussing for a long time with Serge Saulnier, Peugeot Endurance team manager
According well informed sources he could really be one of the 908 drivers for 2009 Le Mans race :D
Anyway, Peugeot press conference for 2009 season plans will be held just after the first half of january... ;)
From today, Olivier Quesnel becomes boss of Peugeot-Sport and stays also boss of Citroën-Sport...let's hope he will succeed by his decisions to allow the 908 to become a victory machine in 2009 endurance season !!! ;)
The program and drivers for 2009 should be revealed around the 20th january...
Official press conference of Peugeot-Sport regarding the 2009 endurance program and drivers will be held in Paris on the 9th february... ;)
No Peugeot-Sport team on LMS09 entrylist !!!! Can't believe that
At least Scott Atherton confirmed there will be two 908s at 12h of Sebring...
