Big and timely boost for the ERC as Peugeot Academy enter a two-car team for Suarez and Lopez in R5s - http://www.peugeot-sport.com/en/obje...peugeot-sport/
Great news, for both as I think the 208 stands a better chance of completing shorter ERC rallies without falling apart.
Six rounds.. still run by Sainteloc?
Peugeot Juniors vs. Gryazin, Griebel and maybe Sirmacis in Fabias means things are shaping up nicely. Now we just need Kajto, Lukyanuk and Bouffier in Fiestas to join in :)
hope so too. It has been a rough patch for the ERC for the last year, that's a good boost for them.
and I also hope Opel will start developing at least an R5 car...and stop competing in the Junior's only,
On a different note, I can't wait for the day Peugeot swap with Citroen in the WRC, and we'll see that the lion roar again (as it did a very good job in both 2016-2017 Dakar).
Happy to see some 208's on the stages this season. Not the fastest and most durable cars but I kind of like their looks and sound. I am already bored with just seeing Fiestas and Fabias all the time :D
According to the article about this on Autosport.com, Kajto is hoping to confirm something this month and Lukyanuk is weighing up whether to do ERC or WRC2.
We need Alex in ERC, he´s the guy who can make rally or total wreck of his car. IMHO in WRC2 he wouldn´t be as competitive as in ERC, where he at least know the stages.
