But they are not doing it. Usually there is lot of things which is wrong in starting order, you can see it before start of the rally. In Czech we are also changing order or gaps in second leg if there is somebody who is on first sight on wrong place...Quote:

Personally couldn't care less which celebrities attend WRC event PR shows, but the "A-listers" are attracted by glamorous events i.e. F1, tennis or anything else where money is obviously present. To the average person rallying is one rung up the ladder from banger racing.
It's refreshing to see that the WRC WAGs aren't all models who are clearly in it for the money, most of them appear to be genuine down to earth sort of people. It's something we should be proud of about our sport, and if anything try not to encourage the façade of money and glamour. We can leave that to our roundy roundy friends ;)
Didn't want to open a debate on this show actually. :) It is just me personally that I don't like it. It's good if it is useful for some reason. Just I'm very much different to the people who enjoy it.

It's not designed for fan enjoyment. It's a PR exercise for the series and the teams. In theory it should provide value to the series - but only if you can get people looking at the WRC who ordinarily wouldn't be. That's why if they are going to do it, having some French speed walking champion in the car isn't really worth it IMO. You need celebrities who have reach who can attract different media and fans.Quote:
