One thing that annoyed me yesterday was Valencia and his constant fouling. None of them were dangerous but he had 4 or 5 very cynical little challenges and got away without a card for a very long time.
Agreed.Quote:

I like it when the ref allows to play and doesn't call every single foul but that was going on for too long.
Speaking about yelling at the TV . . . . my wife got a bit worried and asked me to calm down, I realized that by calming down all the fun was being taken away.
Suffice to say, I continued being very expressive, specially when Barca scored their goals. By the way, Villa's goal was a beautiful thing to see.
Bottom line, if you are a Barca/soccer fan, it was a fun game to see and sportsmanship was a winner here.
:s mokin:
As a Man Utd fan it was a horrible 90 minutes of torture. The first half was okay and I thought Man Utd were going to turn it around when Rooney scored, but the second half was all Barca.Quote:

With respect to our squad, it really needs a clear out now.
Already going: Edwin van der Sar, Owen Hargreaves,
Needs to go: Michael Owen, Anderson, Paul Scholes, Gabriel Obertan, Darron Gibson
Unsure on: Nani
Possibly going but would like to keep: Dimitar Berbatov
None of those in the "Needs to go" are going to be / still good enough for the team. Scholes is sadly past it I'm afraid, and I'm not convinced Anderson is right for the team anymore.
We need to spend some decent money on quite a few players this summer. A goalkeeper for sure is vital. We must avoid the vacuum that was left by Schmeichel. Defensively I think we are OK, plenty of cover in centre and quite versatile players (can play multiple positions at the back). At the front we need one more sticker, two if Berbatov goes.
But the midfield is the crucial area. Need a lot of changes here, a lot of players can go, or are going, and we need to bring in some quality centre mids.
I am an enlishman and support english football. At the start last night I hoped Man U could win, but how can anyone not have enjoyed watching barcelona play Football the way Football should be played.
No one goes into play football for the joy of hoofing it upfield, this is how any football player or fan wants to play.
By the end I couldn't want Man U to win, it would have been unjust.
nah, they just need Mou ;) :p :arrows:Quote:
