I've just had a belated xmas present from Samsung: an update which has given me the ability to run two apps in separate windows on my S3. It's limited to a few dozen compatible apps such as Maps and Facebook but I'm sure more will be added. They've also improved the stock browser, gallery, camera and keyboard beyond recognition (although I'll stick with Dolphin and SwiftKey for now). :D
Sounds good although Iain has been complaining about the keyboard change.
I saw that. Anecdotal evidence time: I don't know anybody who uses the stock Android keyboard, they all prefer Swype or SwiftKey. It's nice to have the choice :pQuote:

I've finally joined Daniel's favorite gadget club.
This is my first pad ever.
The latest retina display, 16 GB, wifi/cellular contraption from Apple.
My eyes are now going to take a rest as I usually use my iPhone in the house to read my mail, FB and forum.
Not a bad way to end the old year and start the new.
:)
We bought a Samsung Galaxy S 4.2 media player Samsung GALAXY S WiFi 4.2 (basically an Android version of the Ipod touch) from Amazon in the 'Black friday' deals for just £69.99 delivered and were going to sell it on... however on reading up on it I discovered it had a good DAC in it (Wolfson) and with the right music player would make an excellent DAP.. so I asked if I could get it for my Xmas. :D
I've installed Neutron music player on it and its just amazing.. the sound quality is the best I've ever heard from any device period.
After having used it for over a week I can certainly recommend the iPad Mini. Really light and thin and a screen just nicely sized for reading sitting on the sofa.
Good for you Mark. I'm glad you are enjoying it.Quote:

I can also see the advantage of a smaller version like yours.
cool stuff. awesome as a matter of fact.
Do you run Softpauer's F1 Timing app? I'm curious how it looks from the standard size iPad to the Mini.Quote:
