I think it's the player or equipment it's being viewed on that makes the difference.
Human eye has a great "resolution" but the frame rate is quite poor and with high frame rate videos the only advantage you get is less motion blur. But that can be achieved by filming with higher shutter speed even in standard 25fps.

I guess you feel it even more...

Sadly it highlights one of the issues of a helmet cam... the shaking. Head-neck has some "compensation lag" which results in shaking that feels natural for the person itself cause he feels the acceleration in the head, but very unnatural to the viewer.
Obviously this is worse for tarmac with hard setup and bumps, should work much better on gravel.

43 days to Monte-Carlo... and black rounds Pirelli tyres to test :)
Thierry said in the interview that they start already next week.
I am wondering if this testing will actually be much more about testing the tires (and setup for them) than any development.
Afaik Pirelli hasn't actually done much testing of the tires in cold weather at all.
Also in R5 snow/wet tires it seems that it roughly it goes like this in temperature/softness scale from softest (left) to hardest (right):
Michelin Snow>Pirelli Snow>Michelin wet >Pirelli wet>Michelin soft slick >Pirelli soft slick
We are not on gravel yet, but I really hope they abandon the "medium" gravel tire idea. Since it basically removed any real tire differences on most gravel rallies. Before picking soft or hard could result in big differences, now it's soft+med or med+hard and rarely any difference at all.

For me the most interesting part of that picture is the detailed look on that front aero mess they have now.
Have to say it doesn't look natural after such a long time with Michelin, it's funny to think that exactly next year it's 10 years since we made the switch from Pirelli to Michelin and now it's the other way round. Hopefully the tires will be good enough and won't post problems like they do in F1.
I am not following F1, but afaik some years ago there was push to make the different tire options very different. I.e. supersoft should be much faster than say medium and also degrade much faster. Essentially a push to make tires "worse" and less allround.
Pretty similar to what I am saying about banning medium gravel tires.
Pirelli tyres have been working good on R5 cars. There is no reason to expect them underperforming in WRC. Also Pirelli always had the advantage that they loose studs way less than other brands due to different production technology.
Because the non sense rule of unique supplier... no problem. All crews with same tyres :)
