Maybe it was easier to keep it German because of papers and documents if it was a former "VW" Skoda?Quote:

I was wondering for a long time who bought the VW-Skodas, so now it is a little bit more clear...at least one car. There were rumours that VW-skodas with gravel kit are even better than Skoda motorsport gravel fabias. Anyway it is very good tool, so good luck for Henk Lategan.Quote:

Everything seems that it is BRR (Raimund Baumschlager) car.
Rumours are that Henk will do 3 overseas events this year, i assume to get experience in writing his own notes which we do not do in SA. I am not sure if all will be for the BRR team, however Raimund Baumschlager is quite involved with the VW team in SA from what i am told, helping to develop our Polo S2000's which are very similar to the skoda.
Henk is quite inexperienced, however his inclusion in the VWSA works team and results thus far have been very good considering. Learning to write his own notes may slow him a bit on this event so will be interesting to see how he performs.
I just wanted to say that this is an amazing photo! Congratulations Hari! :up:Quote:

Hopefully we will see some of them soon on the stages. In Austria or somewhere else...
The dust on the test-stage revealed some history of the car: - Its the ex IRC Car of Mikkelsen.
