How has Kopecky not won this event before?! I didn't realise.
Kopecký won the Rally Bohemia in 2004 and 2005 with a Fabia WRC and was the fastest in 2006, also with Fabia WRC, but then WRC cars weren't allowed anymore in the Czech championship.
It's tricky place. Many crashed there before. It's like a small jump in a corner into the narrow bridge.Quote:

I was four days out on a rock festival so I don't know much about Bohemia. Now I need to catch some sleep first :)
I thought it couldn't be true. Someone needs to tell Skoda's PR team!Quote:

Here the official/unofficial winners of these affected events. In ALL cases the forgotten winner is same...
Bohemia
2004 - Peták (306 Maxi) / Kopecký (Fabia WRC)
2005 - Štajf (impreza STI) / Kopecký (Fabia WRC)
2006 - Pech (Evo IX) / Kopecký (Fabia WRC
Barum
2004 - Jean-Joseph (Clio S1600) / Kopecký (Fabia WRC)
Very nice!
Only to make it complete as always here comes the final results of Rally Bohemia:
1. Kopecký (Fabia S2000) 1:54:41,5
2. Pech (Mini S2000) 26,3
3. Kresta (Fabia S2000) +35,7
4. Tarabus (Fabia S2000) +1:30,8
5. Koči (Fabia S2000) +2:27,2
6. Odložilík (Fabia S2000) +2:40,2
7. Cvrček (Fabia S2000) +4:24,8
8. Štajf (Impreza Gr.N) +6:03,6
9. Vrkoslav (C2 S1600) +8:36,8 (first start with ex-Tlusťák's car)
10. Smékal (DS3 R3T) +8:44,1
In the R2 battle Elwis Chentre with updated Fabia R2 defeated Jan Černý with 208 R2. Between 9th and 16th place overall there were only 36 seconds so in results it looks like a bigger difference than it was. Anyway well done to Elwis.
11. Chentre (Fabia R2) +8:49,1
16. Černý (208 R2) +9:13,2
Some important or foreign retirements: Sýkora accident, Jelínek accident, Dohnal accident, Vallentin engine, Peták accident, Hegelund excluded (tyres), Ogryzek accident
I always thought that it was idiotic to organize two rallies in one. That leads to such absurds like this one.Quote:
