Made me chuckle. You might just 'pull' the hotties that pull up next to you, as they'll assume you are loaded....Quote:

OK!! I will first clearify that hthis is in relation to the Apple maps.Well, over here they are shyte!!. Directions to Mildura in Victoria lead drivers to a desert instead, and there was no phone reception nor was there any water. Motorists stuck there had to walk out in above 40 degreeC heat.Quote:

Fortunately, I was able to call my host on my mobile and was given instructions how to get to his place. 4 months later, on my return to Wooten on my return to Melbourne, my host told me that Google still had not corrected their directions nor maps. Basically, I spent around $160 for the Navman, and got nothing out of it.
No, that's the drawback, but then Apple paid Google a lot of money to allow that to be the case, I believe Google wants money from any app developers who want to use their maps. So I suspect most Apps will be stuck with awful mapping for the forseeable future.Quote:

Good news for Apple phone owners: they can download the google maps here, which are now the fastest selling app ( so I hear on TV) in Oz. :)
