Pretty sure that was Novikov and NeuvilleQuote:

But the rally only started, no point of judging after only 2 stages, even judging after one event would be ridiculous as Monte is a "specialist-event"... :)Quote:

Why? He is able to always finish and that is crucial in WRC2.
Colin Clark @voiceofrally Hearing that Hanninen had an excursion into a field on SS2

The internet? Like most of us follow on it, and u too btw, otherwise u wouldn't be a member here?? :D
Hey, what is this stage? I don't know them very well and this looks exactly like after the start of SS1 on WRC II for the PS2 (Turini/La Bollene). Is this the real life version of that part in the game?Quote:

BTW here in Croatia there is absolutely no racing or rallying coverage at all, except F1, so where ever you are Prisoner Monkeys, there is always a worse place ;)
:) I don't think following the Oleksowicz model will either a) win many events and b) act as a springboard back to WRC.Quote:

The second photo looks like SS1 near Col de la Fayolle, that is in cca 2/3 of it. But it also may be part of SS2 as there are many similar looking places. Col de Tuirni is 250 km away from these places and I don't recall any place looking like this.Quote:

I can recall that WRC II and the old WRC games were based on REAL stages with REAL parts used!!! For example they went out took images and videos of the stages to recreate them!Quote:

No no no.... this is the OLD games. WRC, WRC2 & WRC3 are the latest ones!
WRC, WRC II etc are the OLD games... vintage now.
SS 3 Conditions on SS: stage is more dry, snow on few places, black ice gone. Some mud on the road from cutting.
SS 4 Conditions on SS: temperature is very cold, most of the snow gone away by cars during first run, lot of mud from cuts.
Pluto any news about dry or just wet stages without melted snow-ice-snow at next days?

Trying to catch up here and work at the same time. I'm watching the Italians, are they heading to SS3 or am I really lost?
There will be snow falls in next days so it doesn't matter what is there now as it will most likely change. Anyway usually most dry is stage Lantosque - Lucerám.Quote:

Yes, back in the bad old days I looked after two Finnish guys who came to Rally Hokkaido to take photos for Richard Burns Rally. They drove Day 2 stges on Day 1 and vice versa. They explained to me that they only needed to take road surface and contour photos. Signage, buildings and other scenery would be all photo-shopped in later, back in the studio.Quote:

Loeb+Hirvonen 2studs/2snow + ???
Sordo 2supersoft/2snow + ???
Ford? - 2snow/2studs/2supersoft
Ah, You mean the original game. I meant the stages made years later by enthusiasts all around the world. I was part of the community for several years and I do know some of them. Some were completely crazy and they spent like one or two years for one stage! There You have every house made as the real one etc. There are some videos on youtube comparing real onboards with in-game and it's incredible. Like stage Strýčkovy or stage Semetín, both made by Václav Šourek :)Quote:

Superbad weather should arrive on friday evening (heavy rain+snow)
The Polo's are looking quick again mid-stage.
Where is Juho?
