And do not compare Fuster's 911 GT3 against old Nantet's 996 model. The Franchman drives more than ten years old car and on the top of nearly serial one....Quote:

Αlso we have to mention that 911 gt3s run on wide 305 slick tyres while all the others are maximum 235 rally tyres(wrc-s2000-grN)Quote:

Also a much more wide powerband from 3000 rpm - 8500rpm due to 3,8liters atmo with no restrictors.
Even all these advantages ,they are loosing against a s2000 car with 280bhp and 235 tyres.
The tyres are on one hand advantage but also a big disadvantage when You puncture. The problem is You have different front and rear tyres in GT3 but space for only one spare. If You puncture the tyre You don't have You're f*ucked up :)
Mirek thats right, but the difference between slick tyre and rally tyre is huge.I am talking about much more than 1sec/km.There is no comparison in braking, lateral cornering etc.Quote:

In slippery conditions (damp, wet, gravel) wide tyres are disadvantage. Only on dry asphalt they have advantage.Quote:

Interesting rumour !!!! Melissa Debackere in french tarmac championship at the wheels of a DS3 R3 !!!! I'm all for it :bounce: :D
Edit: this are news, not rumour, her DS3 will come from Bugalski's team and her program will be Citroën Racing Trophy France, few WRC rounds and belgian rounds
Tsjoen is not sure anymore about DS3 WRC program in France..
Her program in 2011 was the full Belgian championship and she did only 6 of the 8 rounds... I don't believe she will do all what you are saying.Quote:

Rallye MODERNE
Startlist of Routes du Nord. Munster found a pilot to rent the second Octavia, Sebastien Deraedt who's not bad on these roads. Lietaer will debut with a new Impreza S6 WRC from France. It'll be in white.
Odlozolik on list so still chance to see him there.
Don't forget Claudie Tanghe, one of the favourites in 2WD and Victorien Heuninck, favorite in R2 ;)
and Quentin Gilbert with the DS3 R3 :)
Laurent Bayard and Jose Barbara will fight for the victory too.
That's very interesting for me. Looking forward to his performance! He has some benchmark in Tanghe so let's see.Quote:
