I can see how the Beemers would be a much more attractive car than the Tolly's. Yes they Tolly's can still race but their not race winning cars for me now. The Beemers in almost any hand can compete well and win races.

I am almost terrified of saying this but if people would keep their angry gobs shut for a moment I hope they would allow me to say though Schnitzer's beemers and Jackson's beemer are different in that Schnitzer's beemers are works backed cars and Jackson's beemer is a small family run outfit car, one thing that connects then is both the Schnitzer beemers and Mat Jackson's beemer won this season.

I think what you're saying is that there's 'factory' parts, and 'customer' parts - and the factory wouldn't want to be beaten by a customer

That wasn't my intention but that is an opinion I do actually hold. That factory cars don't really like being beaten by customer cars if it is the case a beemer made from customer parts has beaten a beemer made from factory parts.

But I just think the beemer has proven itself time and time again to be competitive in any hands.

If it is Motorbase that has bought the cars I am predicting they will be in the top 6 in the Independent Teams Championship standings come this time next year.

I thought it has already been established that Motorbase aren't running Toledos and are looking at running Leons?

If you read some other forums, they running Civics as well Leons and BMW's!

Not Alfa Romeos or Chevrolets or Vectras even reverting back to the BTC-spec Honda Integras?

I know touring cars are littered with teams buying up and using old and slightly uncompetitive cars; as I am sure all know and has been mentioned Kartworld are still running the ZS and may even extend to three got next year and Drednaught Racing are securing funding to run a ZS a whole 8 years since it's debut. Eight years of sucessive racing seems a long time for one make and model.

But now that theirs two ex-WTCC N.Technology Alfa's for sale, knowing just how competitive the 156 is now, I am sure the will be purchased; Arkas for instance are looking at racing two new cars, but how quickly will they be snapped up by a team?

The MG ZS was introduced in the last rounds of the 2001 series, hence they are just SIX years old

I simply miscalculated. Easy done by me.

And in better hands next year, it will be alot more competitive.
TBH, I dont think the Alfa's will be snapped up as they need alot of money behind them to make them competitive on Dunlop's.
