Whats with the spotlight under the front pumper on Hyundai?
They use it to get data, but I'm not 100% sure which data.
Those are ride hight sensors, they messure varience in the suspension and how it performs under loads. Very common when testing suspension set up. It is, effectively, an optical mouse tracking sensor. So it can do height, distance, yaw angle, speed, and probably a couple more outside of the box. Then you put all of that data to interpolate it with the regular telemetry data, and you can make a lot more sense of a lot of data points.

Well, it's uncommon for a country to have two rounds in a championship. Unless they made it a "Nordic WRC event" like European GP. Also, I believe the ASN would run out of resources arranging two WRC events. Meanwhile, car manufacturers are probably more interested in going to Canada for a snow rally instead of Finland which is a relatively small market even for one WRC event.Quote:
