historics now on SVT
Mikko Hirvonen @MikkoWRC Interesting morning. Been trying to shovel my car out of a ditch with Jarmo! Snow was up to Jarmo's waist, that's pretty deep...
SVT might just keep the rally streaming on the net now, but not on their TV broadcast... :)

Loving the Historics !! :)
the sound from the old rallycars is fantastic.
Not really :-) - there are different ways of interperating historic rules, Viking is to full FIA Appendix K, some other Escorts are not.Quote:

Historics info:
The historic rally running alongside the WRC event will consist of several classes.
• Class 1: Cars up to 1969.
• Class 2: Cars from 1970 until 1975.
• Class 3: Cars from 1976 until 1981.
• Class 4: Cars from 1982 until 1985.
– We will also invite an exhibition class for cars made until 1990, says Carlsson who believes that the entries, limited to 35, will hold makes and models such as Ford Escort, Porsche 911, Saab two-stroke, Volvo 240 Turbo, Audi Quattro and Minis.
Rally Sweden runs February 7-10. The historic class will compete for three days. Thursday February 7 is the start with an exhibition at the Super Special Stage in Karlstad in connection to the official start of the WRC event.
On Friday, the historic cars will run Vargåsen 1, the stage with the world-famous crest named after Colin McRae. They will then return to Karlstad and run the Super Special Stage.
On Saturday the WRC cars run four stages twice (Sågen, Fredriksberg, Rämmen and Hagfors Sprint) . The historic cars start right after the WRC cars but will only run the stages once.
– The historic event ends with the very popular Hagfors Sprint in central Hagfors. It always draws a big crowd so the scene is set for a great finish to the event, says Clerk of the Course Bertil Klarin.
The total number of SS-kilometres for the historic class is 84.

Yes, it seems that it will be broadcasted live too. So I believe that we will also watch two runs in Kirkener on Sunday (SS19 & SS20). :)Quote:

Motorsport Italia and their driver make themselves a laughing stock...
Another Polish driver Solowow is way way better than Kosciuszko in WRC car
And Solowow is not on the same level as Kato...
Ogier is just vanishing all competition...
Tideman is cool, he is really fast and stil doesn´t take any risks
Ogier second sector is ... true or false?
Split times are not worthy, but in general yesQuote:

Some people are missing from the forum? It must be hard to realise the reality after you have been living in illusion for long time.
Novikov is fast, similar splits as Loeb
Ketomaa not started stage
some guys are on a hurry. They forget Monte very quickly.Be patient plenty of stages more, and snow fall waiting for Sunday....
Ketomaa is retired on roadsection with broken driveshaft. The DMACK cars seems to very unreliable.
Dropping like flies still. (Sordo?)
Loeb made a mistake?
and Sordo off? this is really interesting
