Does the Evo 9 from Kresta, is at the same level of Pech car?Quote:

There will be no comparison. Pech still has a chance for title and has to take every possible risk to win. On the other hand for Kresta championship is over and he just has to cruise with banners.
Roman Kresta is there with Mitsubishi, because it looks that Skoda crashed on Barum wont be repaired yet, so he must "give" his Pug to Tlustak.Quote:

I´ve seen points difference isn´t so big. Had really absolutely no chance Kresta? Only Valousek and Pech?Quote:

Valoušek 211
Pech 197
Kresta 142
Maximum of points from one event is 48 (30 + 9 + 9 for each leg). Besides that one worst result is not counted and Pech is the only one from the trio who took points in every rally, so while Valousek can add full points from Pribram (has zero from Bohemia), Pech only the difference from his worst result so far (16 points). Kresta had two zeros which is the reason why he is out of the game.
Ok, thnx Mirek

Rally Příbram online: http://rally-base.com/2010/herkul-rally-pribram-2010/
After first stage (hardest stage of the rally) Valda in the lead. Nice start for Jan Dohnal in his first time with S2000 (Peugeot of Kresta Racing). Černý leading 2WD category in the moment.
Unbelivable-Pech yust five seconds back.....that is almost mad-with Lancer!!!
Valoušek doesn't need to win and for him it's stupid to take any risk. Pech on the other hand must win and risk a lot.
Kresta retired before stage 4. And huge fight between Valousek and Pech continues...

You didn't know why Jan Dohnal is so fast, Tom? This is the reason, codriver Martina Škardová: http://www.ewrc.cz/ewrc/image_browse.php?id=31228
I hope she wasn´t reason of their accident on stage 9. They´ve lost about 6 minutes, but continues.
Pavel Valousek is the champion. Tarabus won Rally Pribram after fantastic performance in second day of rally. Especially the last stage, when he was 15.6 second faster than Valousek...at all, he won only with 0.9 sec leading!
Results (not complete yet) : http://rally-base.com/2010/herkul-ra...2010/?ssId=259
Surprising from Tarabus. 0,9 secs - you can call that tight. Congrats to Valda!
on the last stage where heavy rain. i think tarabus had the best tyres!! it was an fantastic rally!! congratulations to valda!!
Yes, congrats also from my side to Valda!!
By the way, are there any rumors for Pech to change tha car in 2011?? It is obviously that Lancer will not bring him a championship crown.....
Congratulations to Valda and also for Tarabus for his first win in the International Czech championship.
Congratulations to Valousek and to Skoda. Definitely, 2010 is Skoda´s year
Congrats to Valousek and Tarabus for championship and rally.
More congrats to Pech with a slower car against a works crew. What a driver!!
I d like to see him with a s2000 next year. :)
The main problem is that he is fast only in his Evo IX. He drove another Evo and also Impreza N14 last year and he wasn´t so fast...
Some people says that his car is the best Evo IX ever, some says that this car is similar to "Asi" Aschenbrenner´s Evo (you know what I am talking about...).
In one interview he said that s2k is more expensive then N4 (but in my opinion, the Evo cost him a lot of money too, they are changing everything after every rally, preventive changin many components in service park and so on...) and the other thing, he is very big man and his codriver also, so they will have disadvantage in s2k car :D
So we will see, next year will be also very dramatic I think.
Pech is the absolute king in my eyes , always has been :D
As Walach said , I can hardly imagine the almost 2 metre Pech and also very big Petr Uhel in a small car :)
I don't think we will ever see him in a S2000 . He is a turbo man , he has mastered driving his Evo to the perfection. If he does go in a S2000 , I don't think he'll be as fast as in the Evo . But who knows , maybe he'll surprise us ... ;)
I don t remember in which rally was in czech but it was this year, and at finish they inspect everything on his car.It was ok.Quote:

Because of their weight in an already heavier car, their results are more amazing instead of an s2000 with 100 kg lighter(just the car) and another 50? kg of crew.
That he is fast on his ''only'' car is ok for me as ''Charouz'' after so many rallies they have find the suspension/diffs etc settings.Even in wrc a higher level we can see crews that when they change car are not so fast.Don t mention that happens from rally to rally from the same car with same team.
Lets wait for next year,if we see him in s2000 is going to be interesting.
And now you can see what we are talking about on czech forums - that´s neverendnig story :DQuote:

I was able to see two stages of Saturday and I must say that Tarabus was really pushing like hell! Valda had wrong tyres for last stage, so he took it easy to go for title. It was bittersweet for him since someone stole his private recce car during the rally...

Yes, Pech is definitely a turbo man! For so many years now, he´s been driving nothing like cars with a turbo. Before the season, he sincerely said that he just cannot drive that good without a turbo and that a turbo is one of the reasons he prefers Mitsu.Quote:

I think you are not right - from 2011 isnt forbidden to have new evolutions, it is forbidden to homologate brand new car in S2000.Quote:
