jonesi seems to have abandoned the Trivia.
Anyone, ask a question.
Who was the first Driver to win races in both Cup and Indianapolis type cars?
Who was the most recent?
note: Indy type cars are AAA/USAC/CART/IRL/ChampCar, I am not including NASCAR's speedway division that ran in the 50's. Cup indicates top level division starting in 1949, not Busch series (so no guessing Montoya unless he wins at Pocono this Sunday. ;) )
Kasey Kahne is probably the most recent. I'll have to think some on the first though...
Kasey Kahne has never started an Indy/Champ race. He did race some Atlantics, but no wins there either.Quote:

I'll guess Parnelli Jones, I know he won in NASCAR in the 50's.
Tony Stewart is probably the second most recent, and Parnelli was probably the second to accomplish the feat, keep trying.Quote:

I'll leave the second part open to someone else, I can't come up with anyone else off the top of my head.
Robby Gordon is correct, I'll give a hint on the other. He used his knowledge of tire wear to gain his only Nascar win.
Robby has three wins ;)
