National Rally championships News

Pieter Tsjoen will not enter the French tarmac championship this season, but will sell his Focus WRC and buy a Super 2000 instead for a mixed Belgian/IRC program.

padWRC, where did you get information about Elwis Chentre driving Impreza WRC. I'm asking, becuse he couldn't get enough money to start Italian Championship(CIR) with evo9 N4-and suddenly he will drive a WRC car in TRA???

Chentre is from Valle d'Aosta, so it looks like it will be a one-off with a WRCar in his home event - I guess he's going to do other CIR events with Vieffe Corse's C2-R2 later in the season.

The first round of the Dutch championship 2007, the Tank S Rally, is ended. On the last stage Jasper van de Heuvel (Mitsubishi Lancer WRC) overtook Mark van Eldik (Subaru Impreza WRC).

Impressive drive of Jasper!

The Rallye Oberland, the first round of the German championship 'ADAC Rallye Masters' is ended. Anton Werner won in his Porsche 911 GT3 before Hermann Gassner. The different between them was only 2"3. Third was the Hungarian driver Tibor Erdi jr. with a Toyota Corolla WRC.
