I didn't add the patches as it said in the tutorial to install a clean copy of RBR, then add RSRBR2010. No mention of patches.

It doesn't matter where you download the files of RSRBR as long as you install them to the root directory of RBR. Before that make sure you have installed official patch v1.02.
Thanks Neverknow - got it working in the end.
Does anyone know if there is any way to change the text and pictures in the menus?
As far as I know if you want to change pictures in the original RBR, picture files are in splash.dat in \Textures in the root directory of RBR.
Though I know little about changing text in the menus. I know that if you want to change car names you'd have to hex edit RichardBurnsRally_SSE.exe but I have never done it myself. Here'sa little discussion about it.
Thanks Neverknow - I'll give it a go.
I got it working by the way - menu pics match the cars inside now.
Just out of interest, what is everyone's times on the Rally School stage? Until yesterday I couldn't beat 1:14, then I played today and suddenly I got a 1:09.11! This is with a Focus 2006. I have no idea what happened but if my memory serves me right, under 1:10 is very fast. Very surprising as all my other times seem annoyingly slow...
I'd really like to watch that replay! ;)Quote:
