Catenaccio against the better teams, relying on counter-attacks for offense!
They looked vulnerable to counter-attacks against Paraguay in the second half, and if Paraguay had any legs left they may have scored again. In reality their only real chances were on corners and free kicks. In the end Italy just had better/faster athletes IMO.
But they were very flat in the first half!
