I have no idea, haven't tried it yet, probably will try it over the weekend or next week. I'm guessing it should be for all tracks.Quote:

Sweet! You on PC, hey Paddy?
Trying to find the links but it gets buried in the CM forums pretty quickly, but here is what I did (maybe this will help others here as well):Quote:

Select the Rapture3D tab, put both options (Spatialisation and Quality) to LOW and Buffer count to 7
Hit ok to save options. My sound is perfect now. Set the sound in the game to Rapture, not software.
2. Diable Autosave in the My F1 section - apparently when you get to the end of your first season it gets corrupted if it's on autosave, so just manually save.
3. Keep Vsync off.
4. Install the latest DX9 on your machine (or DX11 if thats what you use).
5. Install the OpenAL drivers off the disk as well (DX and OpenAL all found in the Redist folder of the disk).
6. For those with Nvidia cards (like myself), go to their website and download the latest beta driver (I think it's 260.53 or something like that, not the 258 one). This has made quite big gains in FPS on most cards.
For those with ATI, get the latest drivers.
7. I found keeping AA settings down helps.
8. I think the other big gain comes from editting the hardware_settings_config.xml file found in My Documents/My Games/F1 2010/hardwaresettings. The main thing is skidmarks, if you switch that off it's a big gain for some reason. Also I switched off MotionBlur (or Blur as it's called in the file) and it looks better IMHO.
9. Xfire and SLI are not liked by the game, switch them over to 1 GPU if you have two. Another thing for ATI uses is disabiling Catalyst A.I.
10. I can't for the life of me find the thread where someone posted what to do with the Nvidia control panel settings but this is what I remember(this may also work for ATI people, give it a try):
Set texture quality to "performance"
Make sure AA settings are on "application-selected"
Crazy enough all of this helped not only with the game running better but the loading times in the menus was MUCH quicker.
PC indeed :D
Is there any way to see results from an online race or do you just take screenshots after the race?
As an export, Brucce? There is none yet. This is why it's going to be tough for organized leagues.
I'm bblock68 on the PC. Feel free to add me! Finally got a couple of multiplayer wins last night at Melbourne. Got my lap times in the 1:26 range in the red car. Gotta work on setups to try and find more time. Albert Park is awesome. I have to go try and remember Malaysia next :)
Wow, 1:26s! Pole in our race was a 1:28 and I was doing low 1:30s, so you're just a little above us, but I'll be seeing you some time.
no problem :)Quote:
