I saw this too... it would be great but I cant really see them going 4WD on a Fiesta... its not even been conformed that the Mk3 Focus RS is going to be all-wheel drive... :rolleyes:

Although seeing as VW may be going 4WD with their Polo R, then that might make Ford follow suit ... :)

I Autohebdo, I learn a bit more about Kubica plans for 2015. It's quite crazy, and to be honest, I can't see how he will succeed in rallying doing this ...

So he create the RK WRT, and take people he knows ... but who aren't rally expert. He is not using A-Style team, only renting the car, and it's his team which is managing all (testing, assistance, ...). He will buy a new Fiesta for Portugal, and hope to rent the old A-Style the rest of the year, to help financially speaking.
He didn't suscribe to WRC to do a lot of test and national events.

I can't see how he wants to progress by creating a team, managing it, ... even Solberg, which was a experimented driver, had difficulties to manage his team and doing rally at the highest level. So what is Kubica expeting ? It would be easier to rent to A-Style (or another rally team) and let them do what they know ... I don't understand his plan.

Why do you think is so difficult to manage it? Especially if you work with people you know and respect yourselves. Why pay more money for a team that eventually screws you?

Solberg had quite limited funds but it seems that Kubica has a lot of funds.

So, it is actually win-win situation for both sides. He still buys all the parts from M-Sport and they get their money, I belive they get even more money as they are selling new parts for him.

Kubica pays a bit more but this time he can be sure that he gets all new parts. If he has enough funds then he can make sure he changes everything as often as needed.
As far as his name is so big in Poland, he can afford it.

Apart from Lotos don't think he has many funds, he is just very rich, this is form his F1 days, I suspect him raising the full throttle from insurance after his crash.
Yes you get screwed if you pay cash to M-Sport and the team decides to witch car the money goes to...If you pay the top price for parts you suddenly are a very important customer and gets proirity treatment. And with own team you are independent and able to choose own engineer and tyre supplier, both are crucial for a good season apart from finishing the rally.
