Rallye Wrc Monte-Carlo 2013

So the real cancel reason is the weather, not too many spectators ???

So now we have final official reason of the end of rally:

INFORMATION ABOUT SS 16
Due to road blocked before SS 17 and in the impossibility to join the start of SS 18 the Clerk of the Course decided to stop rally at the TC 16C.

We have no chance to know the real reason...

Stages being cancelled is nothing new and happens everywhere. Now it is in a WRC event and suddenly it is unacceptable? Get real people.

122 pages in this thread as somebody already pointed out. Which was the last rally to create such an interest on this forum? I guess none for last couple of years. Monte Carlo is unique, You might love it, You might hate it. It's up to You but You can't ignore how incredibly popular it is compared to most of others in the calendar. It was most discussed event on this forum even when it was "only" in IRC.

congratulation to te french seb and big congratulation to the young german sepp!!! ;-) the first german rally driver since 2005 who catch wrc points in his 10. start in an s2000 car!!!!

And coming after last year which was marked by far too many driver and spectator deaths, it's the least they can do to err on the side of safety and not on the side of entertaining those of us who are safe at home. Especially given bluuford's assessment of the weather up there now.
