What a poor ending to a great rally !
Really disappointing that crowd control is an issue yet again on the Monte... how many times must this happen before they sort it out ?
But its been a really 'proper' Monte and, at least in terms of driving, a great start to the championship.
Loeb keeps his legendary status on the event and Ogier shows he's the new man to beat.
Only downside for me is the demise of the Fords when it had been going so well with some top stage times.

Great Rally, but something is just not right about Monte without night Turini. We still don't know the PS points

Despite the 2 cancelled stages, it was a nice rally in general. It was a great feeling to follow the rally live during the week (from Tuesday till Saturday). I wish every week was like the last one! :D Surprised and happy to see 122 pages and more than 2400 posts in the forum! Great!
Bring on Sweden!

In finish 45 crews (of 73 on start).

In the end it is very good result for young Sepp Wiegand. Maybe he is not the fastest around but he certainly looks like a very clever driver. He has done quite a few events in S2000, all of them first time and he finished almost all with good results. Let's see how he progresses.

I canīt see any PS in this rally. They canīt change PS just like that. Itīs not fair.

I don't even care about the results at this point. Just a huge disappoitment all-around. I sincerely hope that Monte-Carlo isn't on next year's calendar.

Well, lets wait the comments form those forum members who were actually in the Turini. I just checked the radar data and precipitation information for the rally district.. For the start time of the third Turini.. I must say that the conditions during the first two passes were like a walk on the park. Now the precipitation intensity is approximately 4-5 times more, it comes all down as a rain(even on the Turini I think).. and there is snow down on the road and big ruts already. Imagine now all the snow melting veery quickly on the mountains (due to the rain) and a lot of rain as well. Do yoy remember the flooded stages in Dakar or Portugal this year? It can become very similar rather easy and quickly.
I hope all the spectators can get away safely because the rain continues and might turn even worse during the next few hours.
Guys, belive me, I have wathced the rain radars information for years and for hudreds or thousands of hours and last time with a bit similar view was Portugal 2012. Before that.. not duirng the rally.
