should we have a topic for extreme-e like we have for rallycross?
They just announced they will have a race in Sardegna (Island X-Prix) in 23-24 Oct (replacing the races in south america).
I just noticed that there was a DS3 in Portugal! Cyrille, from France.

Five years, 79 events. This is the busiest time in the history of WRC with 15-16 events in a season. In addition, super rally was introduced in addition to the rallies of Mexico, Sardegna and Japan, to name a few.
The era when too many manufacturers pulled out - and not enough was done to address it. SupeRally was merely a sticking plaster to a major injury.....
I would say super rally has nothing to do with this. It was more like a reaction to single service park system and growing stage kilometres between two services.
Why manufacturers pulled out was more of a reaction to the decline in world economy. If FIA could have reacted to that somehow, they should have shortened the seasons to 10 rallies or something. Well, the season was shortened in 2009...
To lose 3 in one year - Skoda, Mitsubishi & Peugeot is pretty damning......Too many events and not enough exposure, and ROI. Very little was done. By 2008 and the crash in the world economy, we lost Suzuki & Subaru. However, Honda pulled out of F1 at the same time, and the FiA tried to find a solution for their issues, whilst the WRC withered on the vine, not helped by North One being useless.
