I agree that that is a possibility, but looking bad may not be the first concern. You heard the drivers after SS14... no control, crazy, etc... reminds me of the quotes of Toivonen right before the stage he died on.

For me it was a fantastic event. Full of action, incredibly spectacular due to the weather. A lot of unusual things happening during the rally. Of course it could have ended better but hey, let's cool our heads and speak about that tomorrow. What we saw during those 420 km of stages (really that much was done despite the cancellation of last two) was just great.

If anything, this was one of the better season openers in recent years, if we disregard the amount of WRC entries. Overall though, there have been plenty of positives to take from this rally in many ways. Not perfect, but very good.

I enjoyed the first three days too. I didn't even really care about the timing issues because no stages were eventually ignored due to those problems. I just can't remember the last time when the last stages of a rally were cancelled because of bs reasons like here.

I know everybody's disappointed but have some perspective. Things can disrupt rallies that no organizer, no matter how good, can fix. Like Mirek says, HOW do you handle the crowds - even if you turn them back, where can they go where they will not disrupt the rally, if there are enough of them?

For us sitting at home with PC it was a disaster not having adecvat timing. And on top this! PFFFFFHHHHHHHH!!!

You're right, but I'm still somehow dissapointed, this shouldn't happen in a well organized Rally

Mikko just tell on MTV3 they should have narrow Swede type winter tyres for last stages.

οr maybe is the timing/gps/safety another reason? With worst conditions may the things come worst?

For how long have they done this rally? Tell me? 50-60 yrs?

No, man. This could be predicted. And they didn´t take measures for it. It just that. It´s very nonchalant.
