I've bought one from there too as the other source hasn't got back to me yet. Well at worst I'll end up with two of them and convert the other to a Dan Eaves or Gordon Shedden one!
109.99 for a model thats ridiculous :eek:Quote:

Thanks, my collection has now turned into a bit of an obsession! But I can't take the credit for the information on the link, the more modern cars comes from the year books or internet while the older cars in the collection gets cross referenced with Frank De Jong's excellent touring car site.Quote:

I'm not sure whether I should comment or not. PDS do you know whose selling it? I believe someone else on this forum has one as well?
I have one Alfa Fan but its not me selling it. Mine is the pride of my collection
OK I will then. It's actually not great. Some of the details are very blurred and other bits don't look right. It's a nice model so long as you don't look too closely! Still I wouldn't get rid of mine. It's just a plain white Autoart BMW that someone's stickered up. I would like to redo mine at somepoint, possibly paint it and it could be much nicer!
They were made for all the BMW dealers who were part of the "accident exchange" program. Each dealer had their name on the bonnet (the one on ebay is from Cooper Maidstone) They are indeed a stickered up Plain white Autoart model. Shame they used ordinary stickers and not decent waterslides though.
Finally finished a couple of Cavalier's, I've done 2 BTCC and a world cup car
1994 Cleland Monza World Cup car
1993 Ashley (white livery)
1992 Leslie (Grundig Livery)
Now have 170 BTCC cars!
For those who haven't seen these on the other fourm...

Got my Simoni 1994 155 today. Spent a while looking at it thinking something wasn't quite right, sure enough, compared it against the Tarquini one and realised it had the retracted post-Oulton aero kit! Very odd HPI made two different versions. I assume everyone elses are like this too?
Good spot..
Checking on fleabay it's only the two Tarquini cars (BTCC & CET) plus the road version that have the 'Full' aero kit.
Everyone one else is playing by the rules...
@PDS: Who makes that Giovanardi car, and where did you get it from?
The Black 2010 Vectra I made.
The base model was the 2008 model made by Oxford Models.
PDS, what would it cost to make another?
Send me a PM..
B*****ks!!!
Found a correct Ford Focus model albeit in 1/18.
I feel a conversion coming on....
So what do people here do about storage and displaying their cars? I've got an Ikea Detolf cabinet (glass with three shelves, commonly used by shops), plus another wall-mounted Ikea one which has all my Vauxhall and Renault BTCC cars.
I just put mine on window ledges, shelves, computer desk etc. pretty much every surface available!
Hi,
so you are full of cars now..
Remanufactured Ford engines
Corgi have now announced that they are releasing the 1985 winning Sierra of Rouse. Not sure about the wheels but I'm sure they can be changed. At least it saves me having to make another model!

Ooooh i do like that 1/18 Volvo, a really do want one of those.......... but, i am moving in a couple of weeks to a new country, not too sure what to do with my own collection just yet!

Sell them  If it was me I would pack them up and get my parents/friends to look after them until I had enough space/money to ship them out.Quote:

Stuck my 1999 david leslie car up on ebay a few hours ago as i got a replacement with a box. I would be willing to swap it for a model i don't have if anyone is interested?
That is the current plan, i will be leaving them in a nice cozy big box/boxes (there are quite a few) and they will be left at my mothers for now.Quote:

How much are those RAC BMW's worth of Turkington and Onslow Cole is it?
Onslow cole one goes for between £30-35 and turkington a bit more.
Thankyou
Just bought 2 Onslow -Cole cars on e-bay for £26 each. There is one on there at the moment quite cheap.Quote:

Apart from that, I haven't seen one in ages.
