Because it's likely still faster than 2+2 crossed and Veiby left the service with 3+3, probably not knowing what he would need. Still not ideal for sure.Quote:

Actually not for several reasons. First is that I always considered him to be more of a "dry" driver not being extra strong in bad conditions (he seems to struggle with too slow pacenotes made on snow here). The second is that he might not feel very comfortable in a new team. That is a situation he doesn't know at all. I think the last time he drove in a guest team was in his C.I.R. 2010 season in which he drove in Italy and he managed to win only one rally of the championship as far as I remember. Also he's not getting any younger. IMHO he was strongest around five years ago.Quote:

Porter has summed it up well for me.... start with the Monte and finish with this event (at this time off year and in these conditions).
Saying that, this can be second and a December Rally GB can be last... please.
