Evans stalled in hairpin.
Mikkelsen was stopped for a while according to the commentary but he himself didn't mention anything extraordinary. He said they were safe.
Camilli cought Fourmaux who had a puncture.
I guess the temperature on SS10 just went above 0C when the sun started to work this morning!
double pucnture for Tänak
good tyre strategy again by Hyundai..
but what a time stage by Neuville with new codriver!
hats off
Tänak changed a flat tyre for a bare rim in the stage and back after the stage. Now he's driving on the flat tyre in the road section. Let's see if he can reach the service.
Solberg was waiting for snow all rally long, but not on pace in this one.
EDIT: He had puncture.
Mikkelsen now with 2,5 minutes lead among all Rally2 crews.
Road development can do a lot. If it just about starts to melt but not yet enough to go full slush you get a 0,5-1cm layer of slush on top of harder snow/ice. With shorts studs you don't go down to ice and have no grip.
Stock studded tires in Scandinavia have similar stud length and every one driving here has experienced this.
Setup can also do a lot, first stage was tarmac and hard ice.
Note that Ogier and Neuville have exactly same time over the 2 stages combined.

Left front puncture from the very start of SS10, same corner as @AdrienFourmaux
we think... big shame on the only snowy stage, hoped for a good time on that one
Face with rolling eyes
lost almost a minute, but we go back to service now and reset!
what abaut ogier helment not fixed and forced , time penalty ? Attachment 2032
seems like the punctured wheel is getting worse.. keep falling behind on the map..
The insight from Ostberg has been superb. They need rot get him signed up.
in car cameras have been dreadful - esp the Toyotas.
Is it only me or others feels the same as well - Neuville does not search excuses and wining too much but searching solutions how to get things working instead? Hope he will keep that, way more enjoyable.
I suspect this helmet issue is going to take Ogier's victory away from him...
That is unlikely to be a light penalty
Thierry's new co-driver could get a podium on debut! That will annoy Nicolas one would think.....
