On second thought, there were some people doing similar stuff here last year. Just remember it was on right-hand corner and they were in like 1m height.

Quite expected moves at the front, well done from Tänak, and Latvala as well, although Latvala lost quite much for having to drive both super specials in the rain. That weird grouped starting order was an advantage to Neuville and Suninen who got both dry runs and Latvala et al conversely both in rain.
WRC2 is again a joke with two of the four cars in Rally2 and the second car is an Italian Subaru 19 minutes behind Alberto Heller. The best non-WRC2 R5 cars of Gaurav Gill and Eli Evans are also in Rally2...
Apparently these assholes have been identified ;

Did he really say that? They should cancel times cause some had rain on the stage and some not............really.Quote:
Latvala, meanwhile, was the least fortunate with the weather, with his two runs in the wet costing him significant time - his 10-second edge over Paddon from the forest stages was more than halved thanks to the Hyundai driver getting his first run done in the dry.
An unhappy Latvala called for the times to be disregarded.
"This is not fair," he said.
"We are waiting two hours here to drive the superspecial. Then some are in dry conditions, some are in wet.
"It's not the same race. For me, we should cancel the times. This is stupid."

Aus off, NZ in, I say
Kremer retire on a small cross-circuit?
Last 84 special stage kilometers of the season to start soon, let's hope they are as good as the entire 2018 WRC season and that the organisers do not turn it into an anticlimax by canceling any stages for whatever reasons.
Well said by Ogier at the end of highlights about the Hyundai's fuss.
Afaik the "fuss" was that Ogier's car made strange engine sounds after one of the last stages which he confirmed on alllive and said the co-driver reset something which fixed it. He confirms it at 11:30 into the 1700-1717 Studio on alllive for Saturday. The additional rumor was that someone claimed they were pushing the car after the carwash which he denies.
The additional comments by Ogier sound like small children complaining even though they do exactly same stuff or worse.
Ogier complains that "Hyundai always tries something, like with the chicane in Mexico and yesterday they didn't respect the chicane (means Neuville after puncture) and we didn't complain". Pure angels those guys at Msport, except:
- Ogier was the first to create the PowerStage mess in Sweden (which arguably is why FIA penalized him in Mexico for something else) and the 4 points from there will win him the title if things stay as they are
- MSport got Sordo penalized in Portugal for touching stuff on city stage making sure Suninen and Evans get on podium ahead of him. The nasty part is that he was not nominated for manu points and since he was not doing full season he couldn't threaten anyone in driver's champ. either.

This was more of a close call than Mikkelsen and a Tractor

Just watched a SSS. What a horrible organization of running order. Latvala and Mads lost ~20sec each cuz of that...
If they do reverse running order it must be a full reverse and not that groups.
Like Malcom said at the end of day press conf it could have been a relay getting stuck open, sounded like all power cut out and the reset made the relay connect again so they changed everything in service. Not sure why Ogier says Hyundai is trying to make a story when there clearly was an issue.
And Ogier gained time on a chicane on a power stage, Neuville stopped completely and lost lots of time, which is two completely different things even though according to the road book you're supposed to go the correct way i guess, Ogier also had 4 wheels off the road on a cut...
serderidis is on the road with lara vanneste. :p

Seems you been lost somewhere. Co-driver always check stage times and stop his stopwatch on flying finish. It's not gonna be happen to not see finish when you told about FF to your driver 10sec ago.
Just see all stage finishes from 1st loop - all perfect. Didn't know where you see that.
