What kind of job? In norway we call it NAV, maybe?

i am trying to find molecular targets that inhibit growth or initiate differentiation in haematopoietic stem cells...
to put it simply i am trying to give the dads and moms of this world the chance to answer "no you won't" when their 9 year old without hair and with tubes down its throat asks " will i become an angel mommy" ???
It is a very hard job and very few of us have the brains to do it and accept the responsibility... maybe ?
in other words.. you are dealing with a smarter than you, younger than you, better person than you and way more handsome than you person.... do not fight it... enjoy it.
Nice to see a real battle for the win since long time ago. Rooting for Mikkelsen, just because of my pickems
Hope for the sake of interest, that winner will be someone else than Ogier. Anyway, hope it will be a good battle
Tomorrow will be interresting, close between the 3 first, as it should be in wrc!
No he's not, he's and we are all dealing with a individual who is highly schooled in one tiny area, and because of some horrible malfunction of some parts of his brain, mistakenly thinks that he is brilliant in everything, rather than the one thing he is trained in..
You are a utter failure as a huiman being and disgusting reading your ranting and ravings..
You get a big A+ --we guess---in your little difficult field
You get an F- in you humanity..
Average score......50%,
And in THIS world, not your lab--in this world you are nothing.
Hence the appropriateness of the name NOT. Which should be Naught.
F- in humanity ?? I are sad now...
Will probably rant even harder tomorrow at some no good WRC driver to raise my self esteem...
Total top 5, Colin Crest Award.
(Each drivers best jump, out of two attempts)
1. T. Neuville, 44m
2. A. Mikkelsen, 41m
3. R. Kubica, 40m
4. Y. Protosov, 40m
5. C. Meeke, 39m
Interesting day ahead. Can TN hold out the VWs? Will we see team orders at VW creating a scandal? Will the fight between the VWs push both cars into making mistakes? Will Ostberg make a daring launch at the podium given there is only 45kms to go and he needs to gain that many seconds to get a spot?
Ostberg needs to be 1 sec/km faster than anyone else to be able to get that podium spot by driving... so yes it is quite possible given the speed of the Norwegian so far...
In Ukraine he was good driver but not the best. It's quite a surprise for us been to see him in world arena. But now I see different videos from this year Rally Sweden and I like his driving, he looks fast. Of course still too many things to learn, but it seems he knows what do with it.
time penalty for Kubica

what's the problem ? with turbo?
stereotypical of people in authority. Fail to manage their chain of responsibilities and pass their inefficiencies onto others. Kubica "had limited options" yet they still fine him instead of managing their obligations to the sport by taking it up with M-Sport's accreditation. Cowardly falling back on stupid "article 27.2.1" where a privateer is held captive by his suppliers.
A couple of points that you make like to consider
1. Paddon is driving a car that was not set up for him and that he only had a half day test session in the car. He has reported in the NZ news media that the differentials are at a different setting than he is used to and because of that had had to change his driving style as he was experiencing difficulties getting the car to turn in and maintain corner speed and that he has had to be more aggressive in his style to overcome that.
2. Snow and/or ice is a new experience for him and by the end of this event he will have probably doubled the total distance that he has driven on it during his lifetime. He sure has a lot to learn about it for in NZ we don't experience European type winters, our snow is on the mountains and there are no roads there. If we do get an occasional snowfall at lower levels that is anymore than about 25mm it is regarded as a national disaster and close all highways that are affected.
I think that it is too early in the season to pass judgement on any driver for as the year progresses some will grow and some will fall by the wayside. We need to enjoy the moment and the skills they display, they are all special people with a bravery and a talent that we can only admire.
turbo pressure is limited from regulations to 2,5 bar.
Kubicas fiesta was overboosting (more than 2,5 bar) so they told that to Msport to fix it.
Turbo pressure controlled from ecu(engine control unit)
at ecu only msport have access(ecu is locked, even teams they have buy any fiesta cant change anything at mapping)
its nothing mysterious,can happen.
unlucky Kubica, but at this rally wasn t at any good place.Go figure if he was at some 2nd or 3rd position and had a penalty of 5 minutes.
Day one...

[QUOTE=SS17: OGIER moaning again...
"I didn't throw anything away, but it was terrible to be first on the road here. It was that bad. Probably five seconds here. It's a shame that we have to follow the stupid historic rally."]
...the stupid historic rallly... - the unsympathetic husband of Mrs. Kaiser should know that the historics got more entries than the WRC and that it is more interesting to watch the historics
like Petter and Arne than to hear 2 days of bad comments of the french girl which cannot go fast on first road position.
Ted Ligety comes as 25th on the skiing slope and wins and he has no superior device like Sebastienne or how shall I call her..
Put Neuville and Kubica in Latvala´s and Mikkelsen´s cars and the french girl would no longer be the winner!!!
What is your opinion?
[QUOTE=karl59;1040443]I don't have opinion for last sentences, but agree that historics have it's charm and this 2 events shouldn't mix, because each disturbs the other, so I agree with Ogier as well about this.Quote:

[QUOTE=karl59;1040443]Ogier is right... the historics are nice especially in museums and their overweight drivers at the hamburger shop... now if they want to rally instead, they should not mix with the WRC or if they do, they should do it without intrefering with the event.Quote:

If you put kubica in the VW it would be a really bad financial choice by VAG and they do not do such things.
Neuville would be interesting on some events but no for the majority of them...
Ogier would still run in circles around them or cause them to crash.
So you don´t appreciate Neuville´s efforts today using a rather old fashioned Hyundai?
his effort is good for sure especially in an event like Sweden but his place is due to other reasons rather than pure driving and speed... if he manages to maintain that tomorrow and not eaten alive by Ogier and mikelssen then i would be really really impressed... and i am very hard to impress.
Ogier is the best rally driver in the world at the moment. He is complete, strong, fast, familiar to all surfaces etc...
Given that this year he is the most boring and whining champion I've ever known.
Read at all his statement from new years eve till today: every single sentence that came out of his mouth was referring to his start position, on every interview, at the end of all the stages, it's something like an obsession.
I mean, he can be right, I agree it's a stupid rule but all this whining and complaining is so much annoying, more if you consider he is the best.
And the ironic side of this story is that on the last 4 world rallys, being first on the road has been a huge advantage for him. In Spain he had clear view instead of dust fog (and he won champioship there), in Galles was clear that the firsts on the road had benefit too, in Monte he put snow on the road and here in Sweden in friday being first was better as well.
I wonder when he will stop whining about it if he will ever do.
