Is there any photos of Hening Solber's car?
tactics? no way! just Mikko found the way to be equal with Latvala, and Ogier managed to gain 0,5sec/km over Mikkelsen and Latvala.Quote:

Yazeed is not bad. I remember him last year on test event before FInland - Rally Estonia, where he was 13th overall. And it was good test, on Rally Estonia he was 12th overall :)Quote:

I must say, Kruuda has impressed me with his speed. Not just on this rally, but in Arctic rally and the last Finnish Championship event of 2013
Overnight heavy snow and wet snow. Morning, light wet snow and light rain, then mostly humid and 0..+2.. difficult conditions.. wet snow everywhere, ready to suck cars into cold and wet bed .-P
too bad he had that driveshaft problem yesterday, otherwise Yazeed would had some competition , especially now when its clear that Dmacks on Ketomaa cars isnt holding up in the gravel...Quote:

VW drivers reflecting on this morning loop:
"Sébastien Ogier is a man who speaks frankly, even about his own mistakes. “It was on a relatively slow section, perhaps that’s what caused me to lose concentration for a split second,” summarised the Frenchman, referring to the moment on special stage 8 when he waved goodbye to any chances of a second victory at the Rally Sweden. The rear of the #1 Polo R WRC hit a wall of snow, causing it to skid before finally ending up with its nose in the snow. “Fortunately there was a large group of fans in this area, who pushed us back onto the track. Without them, our rally would have been over. I’d like to extend my gratitude to those fans.”
Despite this, Ogier and co-driver Julien Ingrassia lost roughly four and a half minutes and were thirteenth in the interim classification at the break for lunch on Friday. As such, the duo now has just one thing left to fight for: “The three bonus points awarded for victory on the Power Stage on Saturday.”
This leaves two Volkswagen works drivers fighting for overall victory in the second round of the 2014 WRC season. Jari-Matti Latvala (Polo R WRC #2) is marginally ahead of Andreas Mikkelsen (Polo R WRC #9). “The ruts are getting deeper,” says Latvala, describing the effects that the temperatures, which have increased yet again, and the rain are having on the tracks. “As long as you stay on the track, the grip level is very high. But as soon as you deviate even slightly, the traction reduces drastically. This causes the rear to swerve suddenly.”
Given the worsening track conditions, Andreas Mikkelsen is resting his studded tyres. “For each of the remaining tyre changes, I now have four brand new tyres at my disposal. I’m ready to go head-to-head with Jari-Matti.”
However, Mikkelsen is not about to be reckless while doing battle with his Finnish team-mate. “My aim is to get on the podium. If Jari-Matti can increase his speed again, I’m not going to give 110 percent trying to keep up with him.”"

now we can understand which rock was. Thanks
That sure sounds like team orders... If he wants to win his first ever WRC event, he needs to go harder, not slower...Quote:

bluuford conditions worst for tomorrow?
Like I told, it should end in the morning (big snow ends in the night), just before the stages. Little snowfall during the morning, later temperature increases and it will be pretty wet.
