I was just thinking if Loeb did this without Citroën knowing it ... if you understand what I mean. Afterall I am pretty sure Citroën would still prefer to win this rally and since Loeb feels that they are giving tactical info only to Ogier then Loeb just paid the team back by giving the win to Ford.Quote:

yes sounds very logical....
Tommorows stages are very well known by Latvala and Hirvonen....a win with hands in pockets or a crash is the menu.....Quote:

Tomorrow will be very interesting day!
It is clear enough.. Loeb do not want Ogier to get too many points more than he gets. There is 7 points between 1st and 2nd and there is only 3 points between 2nd and third. Citroen have big lead in manus and Loeb can afford without Quensel whining too much :-PQuote:

If Ogier goes off road tomorrow by fight with Latvala, Quesnel will have an infarction.... :)
Rally Finland 2011
Flying high...
It may have been that Loeb started 1 min late on purpose, without informing Citroen, to confuse Ogier about his target time. Would that 10 secs penalty be valid? would not?
I do not think he could give the victory to Ford, and I still think he can win in Finland tomorrow!
... and its the last part I disagree on because I don't believe it. I cannot imagine that Quesenel thinks it's ok to give away a possible win to Ford - and that's why I think Loeb did this without the team knowing about it - and that's why I think that all is not well between Loeb and Quensel (Because of what happened in Greece).Quote:

sacrificed ???? please tell me when was the last time a citroen won here against a proper finnish rally driver ??Quote:

Well actually the two Citroëns have been faster that Latvala all day today when you consider road-positions, so I would say that Loeb has sacrified a Citroën-win, because he wants to minimise the points-gap he might lose to Ogier ... but I still refuse to believe that Quesenel would ever agree to giving a chance for a Team-win by doing this.Quote:

Good morning from SS12 Leustu. Novikov's jump (Visalanhyppyri) is still rather peaceful, mostly international spectators that have stayed overnight. There were however a queue of cars about 1 km already and more to come.
Could someone with proper internet connection post here (no link) who of the retired will superrally today: Novikov? Ketomaa? Lindroos?
Novikov is on the start list, no Ketomaa or Lindroos.Quote:

Good morning from leustu also! Found nice place on the pile of logs at spectator area F :)
Thanks! Shame for Lindroos. I would've liked to see him all the mileage in S2000 - but of course it was his mistake.Quote:
