Does anyone know anything about the Focus WRC of Bohdan Ludwiczak? Is it a new car? 01/02/03/05 model?

You can't sell something you don't own Eyvind :)Quote:

As far as the Punto S2000 is concerned, people from Fiat Poland say they want to continue their rally programme next year, but it is very strange that they are not present on this prestiguous rally.
By the way, it is rumoured that we will have Fiat Panda Cup next year.
Oh, it's nothing interesting Simmi. Ludwiczak is an old rally cross driver and the car you ask about is nearly a hand-made machine with a specification that never existed... Barborka Rally is more of a show and the rules are not so strict as in traditional rallies. If you want, you can drive a rally cross car or even a racing car.Quote:

By the way, Michal Solowow has just informed that he will continue driving Fiat Punto S2000 next year.
Ah I see thanks very much for clearing that up Jarek :)Quote:

So...
how was Barborka Rally
Very nice! The whole rally was won by Tomasz Kuchar after a fierce battle with Sebastian Frycz (both in Subarus). The last (and most prestigous) stage was won by the old star, Krzysztof Holowczyc who was very disappointed with the stettings of his Subaru Impreza WRC. He said it was very difficult to turn the car around the barrel, because of too much grip and understeering. Both Holowczyc and Kuzaj had punctures on the first stage, so group N cars could win the event.Quote:

Hołowczyc drove the car from gentlemen driver Hubert Deferm (Belgium) and he had also the same problems in the Condroz Rally 5 weeks ago.Quote:

You are wrong, Jarek. Barum stopped sponsoring few years ago. With Barum rally he is continuing, but is giving lower amount of money... When was Barum "eaten" by Continental, all sponsorship to motorsport was stopped (except Barum rally) and - what is more important - producing of sporting tyres was stopped. The same situation is now with Matador... And Continental is giving money to football... :vader:Quote:

Both drivers will compete in the brand new Euro Rally Challenge, containing two events in The Netherlands, two in Belgium and two in Germany. Other Dutch drivers which are named to drive in this Challenge are Mark van Eldik (Subaru WRC S12), Harry Kleinjan (Fabia WRC evo 2) John Temmink (who recently purchased a Fabia WRC evo 2) and Ger Haverkate (Octavia WRC evo 3).
VM Motorsport, probably best known for Peter van Merksteijn Senior’s World Rally Championship outings in a Focus RS WRC 06 last season, have announced the calendar for next season:
Uddeholm Swedish Rally (WRC)
Tank S Rally (The Netherlands)
Jordan Rally (WRC)
Rallye d’Italia Sardegna (WRC)
Neste Oil Rally Finland (WRC)
ADAC Rallye Deutschland (WRC)
Hellendoorn Rally (The Netherlands)
Rallye de Espana (WRC)
Rally Japan (WRC)
Conrad Euregio Rally ‘(The Netherlands)
Wales Rally GB (WRC)
Peter van Merksteijn Junior, Who took the Dutch Group N Championship in his first full rally season last year, will drive a Focus RS WRC 06. Last year he was co-driven by Belgian Eddy Chevaillier, upcoming co-driver for Francois Duval. Most likely Chevaillier will co-drive Van Merksteijn Junior in the events Duval won’t take part in. Van Merksteijn Senior is expected to do some of the events named above in a similar Focus.
Madeira Rally Championship:
It looks Vitor Sá has already decided. Next season he will drive a Peugeot 207 S2000 prepared as always by Barroso Sport.
