Kris Meeke will be co-commentating this week. awesome
Really nice having Meeke on commentary, better than I imagined he'd be.
Not a single image of Huttunen whole day I think... Doing a great job but 0 coverage. They are talking more about WRC3 than about Huttunen.
WRC3 would deserve some coverage as well. Great battle!
Huttunen has terrible starting position today, should start 2nd out of WRC2s tomorrow and get TV time, but I agree that commentators should talk about him.
It's a bit so-so from me.
When he is commenting what is happening it's very good, but he also talks a lot about himself. We already heard about just about everything that happened in his career. So Østberg is better for me.
A lot is said btw drivers and co-drivers just after the finish line.
Some things regarding the stage just done, some on tactics for the next ss, or the next time a SS will be drive, on tyre chioice amd so on.
More and more drivers have started to wait with this talk, until after the cameras are turned off, not to give competitors valuable info.
Every driver/co-driver will from time to time need to ventilate their feelings after a SS, without being penalized for it.
So if the reaction Mads had right after the finish line, and not the official inteview at stage end, then I feel it is wrong. I mean that "Full of adrenaline reactions" can not be used by stewards to give a reaction, as breach of the "law".
Some will say that the coverage right after stage end goes to far into the inner life of the two people in the car.
How do you feel?
It was both. Swearing in Norwegian right after stage end. Then swearing and direct vulgar complaining about tires in the interview at stopline which was quite some distance from the finish and after taking on face mask:

Which population group was discriminated by these comments? Were the tires offended? Perhaps the manufacturer was...? Because in that case, what they are doing is essentially censoring criticism of a corporation, which is worrying to say the least. Unless you're in favor of massive corporations regulating speech.
