Ogier about citroen c3
"There is enough to write a nice story. But my choice was dictated by the performance. I think there is a potential (team and car, Ed.) That has not been fully exploited lately, "he said.

The first team to copy Toyota’s front aero then.

The fender kickers look like prototypes used for testing. I'm sure the final version if implemented would be better. Regardless it's nice to see Citroen trying....
Funny thing is I was told by a Toyota engineer that the fender aero worked in conjunction with the mirror on the Toyota. The mirror on the Citroen is too far back...
Different car, different body, different aero properties.
The C3 appears to have sprouted some form of aero wings mounted above the front wheel arch, half way along and at the top of the front wing. This looks like it pushes the channel of air above and over the mirrors.

M-Sport testing at private track Ford Lommel Proving Ground in Belgium

Strange. Is there something special about the track?
MSport have big tarmac track just next to their HQ that afaik got extended recently, so why go to Belgium?
Also cause it is far from team base it will prbly count as test days. I dunno if test days now count for last season (so they have some free days to spend) or new season. If it's new season it's even more strange they spend them like this.
It was where Ford test the durability of cars and so on.

According to FIA 2019 Sporting Regulations, tests are limited to a maximum of 42 days in any calendar year. So they probably had one or more to spend, before Dec 31st
Short Lappi test interview: https://youtu.be/9kcWjyD3-rY
seems to be quite confident already.
If you recall Lappi complained that Yaris stalls under breaking since Finland and that the team are not doing anything about it.
That issue with Yaris was strange...like Mads had in the fiesta 2016 spec., only he had it. Not saying, it wasn`t there, but maybe something to do with driving style?
Tänak also had a stall in Finland and Latvala in Sardegna. Also, not like Lappi would drive the whole season with one single chassis, the fault followed him to each car.
